OUGD405 Studio Brief 4 - Idea Generation
After presenting my findings for Studio Brief 2, my feedback from Simon and my peers was perhaps to create a travel guide and a solution for how to get people to actually complete their bucket lists, as I found that over a third of us will never get round to completing their bucket lists. One of the main problems that I found from my peers was financial issues and actually affording the do complete the bucket list proved very difficult. Therefore I thought of creating a guide for affordable places and experiences to achieve your completing your bucket list. I think I will create a website and an app which purpose is to inform you about where to go for affordable places, and the website will be dedicated to you so you can put in your own price range. In the interim critique for this brief, I got very useful feedback and more ideas of how to execute this, such as having filters included so you can view the experiences you want to do, and having a 'Users also bought' section to see others ideas that you might like to include on your bucket list. In addition to have a mood board to begin with so you can get a good range of ideas for what you can do, also having a leaflet to direct people to go onto the website like travel websites have an 'order as free guide' option. Furthermore, I would like the list to also include short term goals that you can include and life events, so that similar to Facebook, you can look at a timeline of your life events and even have an option to order a custom photo album of these events so that you can have something physical as well as digital. For this I have written my own brief and what the problem i have identified and I intend to solve this.
