Our target audience was Designers but primarily students as are unique point of the exhibition is that its a student exhibition rather than your typical graduate exhibition. In addition we also use either bull dog clips to hang the covers and if we cannot use nails, then we will use picture hanging strips.

Final Critique

After presenting our ideas we received mixed feedback from our tutor and the level 5 students. They felt the shape of the logo was used too much on the overall branding and stated that there could be issues marketing for the copyright of the Leeds College of Art logo. Other issues was the production as although they really liked our idea of creating the poster and such in the actual shape, producing this shape would prove difficult. Simon also stated that our presentation was too simple and should have had more personality in it, this is something I will look to doing in the future. They felt the effort was good however, and there was consistency within our branding. They all agreed that we had thought about every possible aspect which was the stronger point within our group.

Evaluation

Overall I think these comments were fair and I was happy to a certain extent of what we have produced. Unfortunately though I cannot say I enjoyed this brief, although collaborative work is something that appeals to me, I think the collaboration side I struggled with as I don't feel everyone pulled their weight. I think out of the five members of us working the majority had different styles and tastes to my personal own, although I did not let this cause any problems. I do feel however that the group members I was selected to work with were not the right choice. In terms of working as a group I think we all did well but there were some cases where I felt it was more of a two member team effort rather than five, but in the end we all did come to together and produced a good pitch.
