OUGD404 Design Principles - Production
While in the printing stage for this book, unfortunately I came across some errors and it wasn't feasible to use my type Proxima, which was used quite a lot. I could not use this as I had downloaded it from Typekit on my creative cloud, I was quite disappointed as I thought it worked really well but I changed it last minute to Helvetica. I think Helvetica still works nicely within it but isn't quite as aesthetically pleasing. However I am happy with my outcome and what I have produced overall. I decided in the end to do a pamphlet stitch which turned out really well. I think the binding is subtle, durable and shows that its personal. However, although it may not be practical for the amount of pages in my book, it still hold well altogether.
