OUGD504 Studio Brief 3 - Stock Choice
After looking into different options, it was felt that the stock 'Velvet Antique' would be best for the book. This stock will complement the antique aesthetic as the texture to the page will relate to old century books as paper making wasn't advanced as it is now, therefore paper back then tended to be thicker with more of a texture opposed to the crisp, smooth paper we have now. In addition the colour of this stock is desired as paper was either more of a brown/off white colour. The texture will also create more of a grainy effect to the photographs which coveys the book as aged.
